Soldiers moving into a devastated wood supported by smoke (?) bomb explosions. German prisoners help to load equipment onto British lorries. British RFA limbers take captured German guns down a road, mainly 77mm field guns. French 75mm field guns firing. German prisoners shown for the camera, along with captured light guns, mortars and Maxim machine guns. German prisoners repair a road as an 18-pounder battery moves through. The prisoners rest and eat by the roadside.
